Na virtuálním veletrhu ACHEMA Pulse se prezentovala celá řada technologických a IT firem z oblasti procesního inženýrství. Jedním z významných hráčů ve vývoji projekčního software je společnost AUCOTEC AG s platformou Engineering Base.
Dr. Pouria Bigvand, Director Product Management, v úvodu svého vystoupení definoval hlavní výzvy a požadavky kompletního inženýringu dnešní doby:
- agilní a paralelní inženýring,
- spolupráce více dodavatelů (často v mezinárodním prostředí),
- jazykové bariéry, různé zvyklosti, standardy a procesy jednotlivých dodavatelů,
- správa a zpracování velkého počtu změn v průběhu projektu,
- různé a nekonzistentní zdroje dat vkládaných do jedné společné databáze,
- projektované zařízení prezentováno formou datového modelu,
v další části vystoupení potom uvedl jak platforma Engineering Base a její datový model splňuje tyto požadavky.

A number of technology and IT companies from the field of process engineering presented themselves at the ACHEMA Pulse virtual trade fair. One of the major players in the development of design software is AUCOTEC AG with its Engineering Base platform.
Dr. Pouria Bigvand, Director of Product Management, began his presentation by defining the main challenges and requirements of today’s comprehensive engineering:
- agile and parallel engineering,
- cooperation between multiple suppliers (often in an international environment),
- language barriers, different customs, standards, and processes of individual suppliers,
- management and processing of a large number of changes during the project,
- different and inconsistent data sources entered into a single shared database,
- designed equipment presented in the form of a data model,
in the next part of his presentation, he explained how the Engineering Base platform and its data model meet these requirements.
